Kathy Grosskurth, an Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor with expertise in both Desktop and Online platforms, embarked on her journey with QuickBooks in 2005 in the metro Atlanta area as the treasurer for a local disaster recovery group in the aftermath of Hurricane Dennis. Intrigued by the software's capabilities, she transitioned into professional bookkeeping and has since evolved her practice, Bookkeeping Clean and Simple, into a hub for training, advisory, and consulting services nationwide since 2016. A alumni of the Intuit Trainer/Writer Network and a current member of the Woodard Instructor and Writer Coalition, Kathy has contributed to Intuit's national training team, assisting with webinars and virtual conferences through QuickBooks Accountant University. Recognized as a Top 100 ProAdvisor for six consecutive years (2019-2024), Kathy has spoken to various groups and audiences through CPA Academy, Insightful Accountant, and Scaling New Heights. Kathy has also taught basic QuickBooks courses through the Center for Business and Industry hub located at Daytona State College's main campus. Kathy has also led workshops through QB Express' PopStart initiative and the local Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce. Kathy also enjoys her role as a moderator for the Woodard Group of the Americas and hosts a growing YouTube Channel focused on QuickBooks and Bookkeeping Basics that reaches thousands of virtual learners. Now living in Ormond Beach, Florida, Kathy is married with two grown children (one a registered nurse, another an Eagle Scout working in the IT field) and two granddaughters. She spends her free time traveling, painting, volunteering in her local community, and meeting new people.
